Özet:In this study, the effects of institutionalization of SMEs in textile sector on the work performance are examined. Turkey is an important part of small and medium sized businesses in their lives and as they are younger when compared with businesses in developed countries is also seen to be shorter. The institutionalization of these enterprises has been researched in the textile sector on how the business performance (functional performance, output performance and innovation and adaptation performance) will change. As a result of the regression equations, formalization, professionalization, consistency and cultural power variables, which are the subdimensions of institutionalization, have a positive effect on functional performance, output performance, and innovation and adaptation performance. According to the results of the research, it is understood that the realization of the methods and strategies of being institutional on the enterprises will increase the performance of the enterprises.
