Özet:

The most important aspect of an electronic commerce company is its website. Among other competing sites, the most important factors in determining the success of the website are user satisfaction and net benefit perceptions of the users. The main objective of this study consists of determination of the dimensions to affect user satisfaction and net benefit. This research was a descriptive cross-sectional study using quantitative data collected with five-point Likert scale. To test the hypothesis of the theoretical model, Structural Equation Model which is a multiple variable statistical technique has been used by analyzing the collected data. First, the scale reliability and validity of the questionnaires in which Likert type ordinal scales were used were determined, and then it was tested whether the hypotheses constituting the model were statistically significant. As a result of analysis, among the antecedents of user satisfaction only effect of system quality on user satisfaction has been found statistically significant. Moreover, the positive effect of user satisfaction on the net benefit perception was found statistically significant. This finding provides website managers with the knowledge that system quality can improve user satisfaction by improving the usefulness and system operation. The findings obtained after statistical analysis of the conceptual model provide a tool for the website managers for assessing the experiences of their customers. The scientific contribution of this research is suggesting scientific results about the relation of the dimensions of website performance.
