Özet:This study is carried out after 11 years of the Syrian civil war that had started in 2011 within the scope of the Arab spring protests. The objective of this study is to investigate the effect of Syrian refugees on Turkey's economic and social structure. The Syrian civil war not only caused the deaths of large numbers of Syrians and the destruction of cities, but also led to the most significant refugee influx to Europe since the Second World War. However, the volume and effects of this influx, which is expected to affect Europe, pale in comparison to the refugee crisis in Turkey. The ongoing wars in Syria and the inability to find a solution still leave Turkey face-to-face with various difficulties. Syrian refugees, who have migrated to Turkey in general and Istanbul in particular in the last ten years, have had a serious impact on Turkey's social and economic structure. The serious economic crisis in recent years and the rise of the Syrian immigration leads the increasing discontent of the Turkish society. This reaction may cause conflicts between Syrian refugees and Turks living in the region. The aim of this study will be presented as a theory of “Protection Motivation Theory” to demonstrates the possibility to provide harmony, tolerance, and a peaceful atmosphere between Syrian refugees and Turks. Turkey's protection, inspection, service delivery, cooperation, social cohesion, economy, and activism are all important contributions toreduce the burden of Syrian refugees on the Turkish state and decrease the immigrant crises there. This study adopts quantitative research methods in the shape of surveys and qualitative research methods using related articles. The sources of the data are mainly from credible organizations such as the United Nations (UN), the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), and the Turkish Ministry of Interior Directorate General of Migration Management.Keywords: Impact, Presence, Syrian refugees, Peacebuilding, Turkey.ÖZETArap baharı protestoları kapsamında 2011 yılında başlayan Suriye iç savaşının 11 yılsonrasında gerçekleştirilen bu çalışmanın amacı, Suriyeli mültecilerin Türkiye'nin ekonomik ve sosyal yapısına etkisini araştırmaktır. Suriye iç savaşı sadece çok sayıda Suriyelinin ölümüne ve şehirlerin yıkılmasına neden olmakla kalmamış, aynı zamanda İkinci Dünya Savaşı'ndan bu yana Avrupa'ya en önemli mülteci akınına da yol açmıştır. Ancak Avrupa'yı etkilemesi beklenen bu akının hacmi ve etkileri Türkiye'deki mülteci krizinin yanında sönük kalmaktadır. Suriye'de devam eden savaşlar ve devam eden göçe çözüm bulunamaması Türkiye'yi halen çeşitli zorluklarla karşı karşıya bırakmaktadır. Son on yılda genel olarak Türkiye'ye, özelde İstanbul'a göç eden Suriyeli mülteciler, Türkiye'nin sosyal ve ekonomik yapısını ciddi şekilde etkilemiştir. Son yıllarda yaşanan ciddi ekonomik kriz ve Suriyeli göçün artması, Türk toplumundayükselen bir hoşnutsuzluğuna yol açmaktadır. Bu tepki, Suriyeli mülteciler ile bölgede yaşayan Türkler arasında çatışmalara neden olabilir. Bu çalışmanın amacı, Suriyeli mülteciler ve Türkler arasında uyum, hoşgörü ve barışçıl bir atmosfer sağlama olasılığını ortaya koymak için “Koruma Motivasyon Teorisi” üzerinde durmaktır. Türkiye'nin sağladığı koruma, denetim, hizmet sunumu, işbirliği, sosyal uyum, ekonomi ve aktivizm, Suriyeli mültecilerin göçmen krizlerini azaltmak için önemli katkılardır. Bu çalışma, anket şeklinde nicel araştırma yöntemlerini ve ilgili makaleleri kullanarak nitel araştırma yöntemlerini benimser. Verilerin kaynakları ağırlıklı olarak Birleşmiş Milletler (BM), Birleşmiş Milletler Mülteciler Yüksek Komiserliği (BMMYK) ve TC İçişleri Bakanlığı Göç İdaresi Genel Müdürlüğü gibi güvenilir kuruluşlardan gelmektedir.Anahtar Kelimeler: Etki, Varlık, Suriyeli mülteciler, Barışın İnşası, Türkiye.Table Of
