Özet:

The comparison between Üsküdar and Meknes in the area of local governments is aimed at benefiting from today's experiences in Turkey. In comparison; especially Üsküdar's similarity with Meknes in terms of both population and area has been the driving force. The performance management system was discussed among the two municipal administrators, and a large number of municipal administrators were asked questions about this system. While the majority of our interviews were conducted face-to-face, these interviews were useful for our understanding of the system. As a result of our interviews; The Meknes municipality has theoretically a performance management system in local governments, but in practice it does not have the same ability to implement this system and it needs more time. Meknes municipality, as a procedure, conducted the performance evaluation system, but the performance ratings that you get from the evaluation have generally increased in relation to the closeness to the administrative unit and the fact that you are in the same political view. The municipality of Üsküdar concluded that the performance evaluation system was terminated 4 years ago and the performance evaluation of the individual was connected to the branch manager.
