Özet:This research aims to expand the literature on effects of the attitude of mothers with past traumatic experiences towards their children. This research will try to interpret the study as group of 20 mothers who live in Istanbul and receiving consultancy. With these interviews mothers’ traumatic lives will be defined and their effect on the development of their children. Semi-structured interview will be used as the methodology of the study. This study will attempt to determine how the trauma was experienced and effected which emotions the most for the 20 mothers interviewed. The study will examine how the trauma of the mother is perceived by their children.
