Özet

A brain tumor is a dangerous type of cancer. Brain tumors can be extremely fatal in their advanced stages, and misdiagnosis and incorrect treatment methods can reduce the likelihood of recovery. Recently, with the widespread use of machine learning algorithms, many diseases can be diagnosed early. Detection of brain tumors using machine learning methods has emerged as an important research area today. In this study, CNN and YOLOv8 machine learning algorithms are used to classify glioma, meningioma, pituitary tumor and notumor brain MRI images using publicly available brain tumor dataset. The obtained results outperform the studies in the literature with the same dataset in terms of performance.
