Çalışmada, literatürde kalıcılık üzerinden tanımlanan aidiyet olgusunun dönüşüm ve esneklik üzerinden okunmasına dair araştırma yapılmaktadır. Teorik araştırmalar üzerinden; esnekliğin, zaman, mobilite, dönüşüm ve mekanın dönüşümlere adapte olabilme hali ile paralel çalıştığı okunabilmektedir. Makaledeki esneklik bakışı da bu yörüngede bulunmaktadır. Araştırılan durum ise mekanın bireye adapte olabilme hali olan esneklik kavramının, bireyin mekana adapte olma hali olan aidiyet kavramı ile nasıl bütünleştiğidir. Dolayısıyla çalışmanın amacı; esneklik ile aidiyet kavramlarının ara kesitlerini konut uygulamaları üzerinden ifşa ederek dönüşüm ekseninde bir aidiyet okuması yapmaktır.Özne ve nesne etkileşiminden doğan aidiyet kavramına ilişkisellik olarak bakılmaktadır. Bahsedilen özne-nesne ilişkisinin kurulmasında en temel tetikleyici müdahaledir. Müdahale mekanın kişileştirilmesini ve anlam üretimini getirmektedir. Aynı zamanda müdahalenin sürekliliği mekansal dönüşümü de beraberinde getirdiğinden esneklik ile içkin olmaktadır.Bahsedilen durum İstanbul’un Cihangir semtindeki 1+1 ve 1+0 konut pratikleri üzerinden tartışılmaktadır. Seçilen konutların farklı esneklik şekillerine sahip olması tartışmanın kapsamını genişletmekle beraber zeminini sağlamlaştırmaktadır. Böylelikle teorik altyapıda bahsedilen olgular; görüşme ve gözlem metotları vasıtasıyla okunmuştur. Farklı esneklik tipolojilerindeki mekansal izler, eylemler ve söylemler ortaya çıkarılarak, statik olandan ziyade dönüşebilir ve esnek olanın aidiyet olgusunu tetiklediği ifşa edilmiştir. Aidiyet olgusu, dönüşümcü olandan, dönüştürülebilir olandan ve hatta dönüşümün kendisi tarafından beslenmektedir.
In the study, research is conducted to read the phenomenon of place attachment, which is defined in the literature on permanence, through transformation and flexibility. Through theoretical research, it can be read that flexibility works in parallel with time, mobility, transformation and the adaptation of space to transformations. The view of flexibility in the article is also in this orbit. The researched case is how the concept of flexibility, which is the adaptation of the space to the individual, is integrated with the concept of place attachment, which is the adaptation of the individual to the space. Therefore, the purpose of the study is; is to make a reading of place attachment in the axis of transformation by revealing the cross sections of flexibility and belonging concepts through residential applications.The concept of place attachment arising from the interaction of the subject and the object is regarded as relationality. It is the most basic trigger intervention in the establishment of the subject-object relationship. The intervention brings the personalization of the space and the production of meaning. At the same time, the continuity of the intervention brings with it spatial transformation, and it is immanent with flexibility.This situation is discussed through 1 + 1 and 1 + 0 housing practices in Cihangir district of Istanbul. The fact that the selected houses have different forms of flexibility expands the scope of the debate and strengthens the ground. Thus, the cases mentioned in the theoretical background; read through interview and observation methods. Spatial traces, actions and discourses in different flexibility typologies have been revealed. It is disclosed that the transformative and flexible trigger the place attachment phenomenon rather than the static one. The phenomenon of place attachment is fed by the transformational, the transformative, and even the transformation itself.
