This
study includes a comparative analysis of the logistics system in Turkey and
Russia, a SWOT essay, the difficulties of the logistics system, and a mini analysis
of the opportunities it offers. It also offers suggestions for solving the
problems encountered.
It
appears that Turkey has a more advanced logistics system than Russia. It is
seen that Russia has made great progress recently, especially in the simplification
and digitalization of customs procedures. Improving trade logistics in Turkey
and Russia could deliver significant benefits for both countries, including
increased economic growth, job creation, and improved living standards for
citizens. Therefore, public authorities should take a proactive approach when
planning reforms and investments that promote efficient and transparent trade
logistics.
The
SWOT analysis highlights the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats
facing the logistics system in both countries, including bureaucracy,
corruption and inadequate transportation infrastructure. In order for both
countries to rank higher in the Logistics Performance Index (LPE) and at the
same time to become more strategic and competitive; The main areas can be
expressed as improving the logistics infrastructure, simplifying and
accelerating customs practices, meeting the need for qualified human resources,
investing in new logistics processes in the light of technological developments
and providing more transparent services to the parties. With these
developments, the logistics system can make trade between countries more
effective and efficient, as well as make serious contributions to economic
growth.
