Özet
This study aims to systematically map and evaluate the intellectual structure, thematic evolution, and collaboration patterns of research at the intersection of artificial intelligence (AI) and communication. Using a bibliometric analysis of 609 Scopus-indexed publications published between 2014 and 2025 in the fields of social sciences and business, the study identifies emerging themes, leading countries, influential authors, and core publication sources shaping this interdisciplinary domain. Bibliometric techniques, including keyword co-occurrence, country-level bibliometric coupling, co-authorship analysis, and source-based coupling, were conducted using VOSviewer 1.6.20. The findings reveal a sharp growth in scholarly interest after 2018, driven particularly by advances in generative AI and AI-mediated communication. While the United States, the United Kingdom, and China dominate research production, several countries—including Türkiye—remain in a peripheral, but emerging position. By integrating thematic, geographical, and source-based perspectives, this study contributes a comprehensive overview of AI–communication research and identifies underexplored areas and collaboration gaps that can guide future interdisciplinary research.
