Özet

For qualitative study proposes a model of social innovation practices adopted by local governments in social strategy development in Turkey. Data for case studies research of the Bağcılar, Esenler and Beşiktaş municipalities were collected from literature, observations and semi-structured interviews with municipal officials. A thematic analysis of the interviews was used to inform analysis on social strategy and innovation practices, and based on the analysis, the study proposes a functional model for a local solution centre, which is aimed at facilitating social innovation and strategic public relations elements that can be applied by local governments in Turkey.
