Abstract

Using the power series method, we solve the inhomogeneous linear _rst order di_erential equation y′(x) + λ(x -μ)y(x) = ∞∑m=0 am(x-μ)m; and prove an approximation property of Gaussian functions. © 2013 Texas State University - San Marcos.
