In the current global environment, innovations and developments in supply chain management are remarkable, driving companies to seek the most effective and efficient methods to optimize their logistics and transportation activities. As part of this effort, businesses aim to collaborate with the best providers and suppliers, ensuring high-quality service while minimizing costs. Pallet pooling is gaining popularity as a cost advantage and environmentally friendly supply chain strategy in a variety of industries and at the same time it creates value for a sustainable logistics network with operational improvements. Realizing these kinds of operation success requires selecting the best pallet pooling service provider. This study aims to rank and select potential pallet pooling service providers within the framework of the triple bottom line by using intuitionistic fuzzy based model which is one of the techniques of multiple criteria decision making. It determined 16 sub-criteria under 5 essential headings in the direction of assessing. Not only does this approach provide decision-makers with a methodical and unbiased approach for selecting the leading pallet pooling service provider within an uncertain environment, but it also helps in determining the necessary criteria for pallet pooling service provider selection. Alternatives ranked with intuitionistic fuzzy alternative ranking order method accounting for two-step normalization and highlighted it in sharing economy concept. Based on rankings, the most critical criteria for service provider selection are quick response and adaptability, customer relationship management, and logistics capability, while less emphasis is placed on social sustainability, innovation, and pallet material variety, reflecting a focus on operational efficiency and reliability.
