Özet

There are many diseases such as eczema and psoriasis that cause anomalies on the skin. Diseases such as eczema and psoriasis can cause crusted wounds on the skin as well as non-crusted wounds. In this study, images from both types known to occur because of psoriasis were examined and the anomalous areas caused by the disease were determined by cascaded image thresholding, morphological and edge-detection methods. Instead of artificial intelligence-based methods, image thresholding was preferred to reduce the processing load required for the detection process, thus making this process easier for embedded systems and real-time systems. Results are assessed by comparing the accuracy of match percentage between ground truth segmentation and proposed segmentation successfully.
