Proje Özeti

The HUMAN-IT initiative addresses the profound transformations reshaping the governance of human capital in response to exponential digital technologies and complex societal challenges. As these disruptions redefine the workplace, employee experience, and global job market, HUMAN-IT seeks to develop a forward-looking, interdisciplinary approach to Human Resource Management (HRM). The Action aims to contribute to EU employment and inclusion policies and support broader societal progress aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs 8 and 9).

The project mobilizes a broad network of scholars and practitioners across three thematic Working Groups (WGs):

  • WG1 focuses on the disruptive integration of digital technologies—particularly artificial intelligence and advanced analytics—into HRM systems, mapping their implications for workforce planning, decisionmaking, and talent management.
  • WG2 explores the structural changes in organizational forms brought about by technological singularity, investigating shifts in employee experience, well-being, and the evolving nature of work.
  • WG3 examines the macro-level societal and policy implications of HRM transformation, with the goal of informing evidence-based policymaking and guiding the redesign of job markets.

Through collaborative research, policy dialogue, and knowledge dissemination, HUMAN-IT aspires to strengthen Europe’s capacity to anticipate and manage future workforce challenges.

Key outcomes include the production of scientific publications, practitioner-oriented tools, support for earlycareer researchers, and enhanced institutional capability to govern digital transitions in HRM.

Cost action 24167 HUMAN-IT will foster a more inclusive, resilient, and innovation-driven human capital landscape across Europe
