Abstract:

The purpose of this research is to investigate the effect of employer brand and talent management relationship on employees' organizational engagement perception in the hotel industry. The main hypothesis of the research was determined as catalyst scores of the participants, which are formed by the interaction of employer brand and talent management factors, affect the organizational engagement scores. In connection with the basic hypothesis, the effect of employer brand and talent management on the perception of organizational commitment was tested as separate dimensions. In the research, the relationship between basic variables and demographic variables were also investigated. The study was carried out in four and five star hotels operating in Istanbul. In this context, 150 hotel employees were reached in total. The data were collected through easily survey method. IBM SPSS Statistics 23.0 and STATA 16 programs were used to analyze the collected data. As a result of the analysis of the data, the basic hypothesis of the research and the other two hypotheses established in connection with the basic hypothesis were accepted. The research has originality in two aspects. Firstly, in the literature, there are studies examining the relationship between employer brand and talent management, but no studies involving employer brand, talent management and organizational commitment variables are encountered. In the literature, the effective relationship of employer brand, talent management and organizational commitment variables was evaluated for the first time. Secondly, there is no such qualitative research in the hotel industry.
