Abstract:People send goods in with the aim of trading or another. Consignor makes an arrangement with contracting carrier to send goods to consignee. Due to various reasons, contracting carrier may have transportation done to actual carriers. In the moment of transportation done by actual carriers, damage may occur result of loss, damage or delay. The questions, who has the obligation of the damage occurred, who can owner of the goods claim his/her legal rights to, may appear in minds. The rules or clauses related on these issues are settled in the Convention on the Contract for the International Carriage of Goods by Road (CMR).
