Abstract:New media has a significant role in the transformation of social behaviors, life styles and organizational structures. New media which influences individuals and corporate firms and provides interaction among the masses, has provided the opportunity to combine corporate social responsibility and social movements and create a civil action space. In this research, the organization of social movements which are defined as 'new' with the use of new media and its role in corporate social responsibility activities practiced by institutions are studied. In the frame of corporate social responsibility activities, the forms of new media usage, organization methods of social movements, how and in which way the interaction inside the organization and/or among the masses is realized were examined in detail within the scope of Adım Adım Formation which will set an example for the new social movements through its organizational structure. Qualitative method was used in this research where a case study was conducted by analyzing Adım Adım Formation. In-depth interviews were made with Kıvanç Ergun (Brand and Communication Coach) accompanied by Associate Professor Itır Erhart (Adım Adım - Founder and Board Member). Moreover, participant observation method was used by participating in the corporate social responsibility activity of Kredi Kayıt Bürosu (KKB) as a corporate runner. More in-depth interviews were made with Handan Erdoğdu (KKB Corporate Communication Manager) and Simge Eskici (KKB Event and Sponsorship Management Specialist) who have participated in the activites as corporate runners for the past two years and also supported Adım Adım by promoting the organization and its activities inside KKB. Adım Adım Formation’s website and social media accounts such as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram were followed and examined with qualitative reserach methods.
