Abstract:The work features history of Turkish Textile Sector , its contributions to Turkish economy, its financial sources and percentage distribution of these sources , credit sources of the sector , the structure of a textile company , position of this company before and after economic crisis in 2001 , problems that enterprises experience while using credit and finally percentage distribution of credits by sector. Credit data of textile sector in 2000 and 2013 were inspected. The data of credits which were put in use by banks, factoring and leasing companies in 2000 and 2013, were used in this study. Plus, these information were demonstrated with visual charts based on years and they expand on the instability of the credit data. Apart from these data, it points out total amount of credits used in all cities and regional average of credit amount for each bank branches. The work also mention the correlation between Turkey’s economical growth and credit volume. Firstly it took Turkey’s economic indicators between 2003-2013 and compared them with credits. GPT - credit volume relation and ratio of all credits in GPT were inspected on graphics. Loan rates provided from abroad were mentioned briefly. Granger causality test was in order to deduct the relation between Textile Sector Credits, GPD and Account Deficit and the correlation type between them, Also Dickey-Fuller unit root testing implemented in order to detect stagnant position of textile sector credits. In this work infos and data which TCMB, BRSA, BAT, TUSIAD and TCCSGB provided, were significantly used.
