Abstract:Turkey, since 2002, has increased its presence in the international arena by adopting an active foreign policy. The purpose of this study is to reveal with this active foreign policy in which events and crises and in which international organizations how and to what extent have Turkey been effective between the years 2002-2017. In this context, Turkey’s approach towards 2003 Iraq, 2008 Georgia, 2011 Syria, 2011 Egypt and 2013 Ukraine crises with United Nations, European Union, NATO and Shanghai Cooperation Organization constitute the scope of this study.
