Abstract:

Traditional journalism is transformed as a result of online journalism. The most important factor that triggers this transformation is new media technologies. Readers have been become users with new media technologies. This situation distorts the structure of the traditional newspaper. Online newspapers are able to provide more information to the readers. Traditional newspaper editors are now looking at the number of news they get because of online newspapers. They are no longor interested in the quality of news content. QR code technology must be used to solve all these structural distortions of traditional newspapers. Traditional newspapers will become a digital structure with QR code technology because QR code technology gives newspapers the opportunity to use new media technologies. Therefore, traditional newspapers should begin to tell their readers how to use QR code technology.
