Abstract:

People spend the majority of their time at work, and their motivation is seen as a significant component in job success. In the current economy, employees that are enthusiastic about their company's objectives are a major competitive advantage. Many studies have been conducted on the relationship between employee engagement and work satisfaction. An employee who is satisfied with their work may not be engaged, while an employee who is engaged and believes in the organization's principles will most likely be satisfied with their work. The main topic of the thesis is the link between employee engagement and job satisfaction. It is essential to determine the components and dimensions of these two terms separately, as well as to understand and clarify their relationship. The study was conducted on 235 employees from various Moroccan companies. A structured questionnaire was used to collect the primary data. Data was analyzed using descriptive statistics. A correlation analysis was computed to determine the association between employee engagement and job satisfaction. The results showed significant correlations between the two variables (employee engagement and job satisfaction). Keywords: Employee engagement, job satisfaction, organizational commitment, correlation analysis, Moroccan companies.
