Abstract:Turkish Minority in Greece has a distinctive place among other national minorities in Europe in every sense, both with her special status in Turkish-Greek relations and sui generis characteristics. Muslim Turkish Minority of Western Thrace has succeeded to survive in the complex political environment of Balkans for long years. The Minority remained her tradition of political organization during the entire 20th century despite several political and social oppressions, and kept her struggle on the legal way of political arena until today. Main concern of this study is to analyze the most important stages of political struggle of Muslim Turkish Minority in Western Thrace, which has been continuing consistently up to today, within the context of main international political approaches.
